This fast-moving comedy, which was awarded the Geoffrey Whitworth Cup in 1984, centre on the middle-class prejudices of Molly, a no-nonsense lady. In her absence, Walter, her hen-pecked husband is led by an old friend, Harry into a life of general debauchery-drinking, gambling and worse-to paint two nudes. The fact that one is a professional model and the other is his wife's young domestic girl adds to the comic chaos. Eruptions occur when Molly unexpectedly arrives home-on exactly the same day that their paintings are returend from the local art contest!
